Very good wishes for sustaining the health of that kidney, and your
health otherwise.

If you are the person also known as Arthur Halliday-Laurent, I have
been your admirer for a lot of years. (I am guessing this is the case,
since there is "npr" in your email address.)

You have my prayers, (and my thanks for some excellent radio production).

My name is Georgia DuBose. I'm a priest in Florence, Oregon. I've been
around these parts since 2004--relative newcomer.

It would be nice to have an introduction from you when you feel so moved.

In the first test (about 45 minutes into a renal sonogram beginning at 7 this morning), the resident asked me, "Has anyone ever told you you don't have a right kidney?" I laughed, because it reminded me of the time my cardiologist asked, "Has anyone ever told you you have atrial fibrillation?
