Hi, Arthur!
An urban legend.
A person (in this case, let it be a guy-person) goes to some big city for a
good time, a vacation or a need to let off steam. He looks up with a
gorgeous woman, and they have a glorious time, and drinks flow freely ...
He awakens with a bit of a pain, sitting in a bath tub in a hotel room.
He's a big groggy. He finds a large bandage around his midsection. Next to
the tub he finds a note:
"Call ambulance immediately
Get to hospital"
At the hospital, they discover that both of his kidneys have been removed.
In more civilized versions, it is just one kidney gone.
