At the very least, a permanent plaque with a thoughtful, two-sided
discussion of the symbols, and just what they mean for different people,
would not be amiss.

I suppose we could arrange for a VMI ROTC rifle drill squad to come to the
cathedral and accidentally shoot the flags out of the windows.  Then, we'd,
of course, have to repair the windows, and could put in something less
offensive.
