Star Wars, for me, will always be the first one, and not for any pro or con as to its quality or success.  For me, it's purely nostalgia.  I was 12 years old, and it was the first movie I went to see all by myself.  And I shortly after obtained the book version (which I've got to find again soon, just for fun).  For its time, for a kid with plenty of Hollywood nostalgia already in his veins, it was stupendous.  (Note to self:  Obtain LP soundtrack again.)

I'll get the Awakened Force on DVD, but don't expect to be too thrilled.  Except in imagining myself once again, "all alone" in that crowded movie theatre, watching the greatest movie ever made.  (Outside of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World", of course.  And "The Producers".  And....)
