TWS = Trinity Wall Street . . .

The church was packed by 915 (we got the last 4-together at 9) for the 10 PM 
Gathering Music and 11 PM service. Lots of congregation hymns and carols, 
Malcolm's Gloria (from Mass at the Crib), a Bairstow Anglican chant for Psalm 
96, a nice paraphrase of the Nicene Creed sung to the tune "Nettleton," and a 
spectacular offertory anthem by Glenn Rudolph.

Overall, a fine evening, despite the fact that as in so many places,  the people 
who walked in darkness having seen a great light have changed their mind about 
the value of that by the time they get to Silent Night after communion.
