You may be one of the exceptional people , but mumps in adults, 
especially men, is no laughing matter.  Measles were known to often 
affect eyesight, whooping cough remains serious and is on the erise, 
chicken pox can open the door to shingles in later life, and so forth.  
I would neither like to repeat these experiences nor be the one who 
infects others who are vulnerable.
