I miss singing this with the Latin Choir on Good Friday.  Madame
choir director is possessed of a clear, high soprano voice that did
ample justice to the high parts, and the rest of it is rather easy
polyphony.  I'm sure a place like St. Phillip's does it up  beautifully.
 
The classical Western Good Friday Liturgy is one of those times
when the further from the old format one goes, the less impressive
the Liturgy.  The TEC '79 makes a good stab at keeping the
traditional order intact.
