Yes indeed. Some clergy have gotten into all manner of tax difficulty because 
whoever took care of tax matters in the parish were simply not up to the job 
(Bless their heart). And some larger parishes have the same issues.

I think it doesn’t help that Seminaries don’t seem to offer a semester or three 
of basic church business management. Once upon a time it could be argued that 
clerics are "above" such lay duties in a parish, but I don’t think that's true 
anymore.
