Not as frigid, but nearly so, in Chicago. We have to walk our dear cat
Burberry (in a pet carrier) over to our vet's office a few blocks away for
her "senior checkup." She's healthy and happy lately, and more active than
ever, but I know she won't like the cold nor the mystery (again) of being
taken somewhere against her will. She'll meow the whole way. We'll try
wrapping her in a blanket, but that sounds a lot easier than it is. She's a
cat, after all, and cats control what happens! :) Just getting her into the
carrier will be a project in itself. Our younger cat Hermès loves the
carrier and is in it as soon as we open its door. She'll have to wait until
April for this fun.
