I got a call that our assistant director woke this morning and her leg gave
way under her, and she is in hospital, and a stroke is suspected.  She has
a number of health issues.  Laura is a good musician and, being a retired
teacher, has the personality to keep some of us crazy musicians from
killing each other.
Our accompanist, who is in her nineties and failing in health, has gone to
the hospital to be Laura's healthcare advocate inasmuch as Laura has nobody
else.
Laura has been the person who has gotten another person to his PT and
various health care appointments.  I wonder who will take care of Bob if
Laura is not able to recover.
All of this is happening up in the Albany area, and I am down in Hyde Park,
so I'm not able to be of any help either.
