Although in opposition to its acceptance by the Vicar of Dibley,
there's Edina Monsoon in Absolutely Fabulous, who pronounces instant
coffee to be "beans that have been cremated," and as she's hung over,
she wants her coffee "entire, with life force." She admonishes her
daughter not to "pull that face" whilst grinding the beans, as she
doesn't "want to drink a cup of your anger." She then changes her mind
and throws the beans to the floor, saying she wants some "fennel twig
tea." :)
