One of the nice things about living in a big city (and one that I sorely miss) 
is that days like Epiphany ARE celebrated on the Feast Day --

In NYC at St Mary the Virgin on 46th Street, for example, they had an Eve of the 
Epiphany Evensong tonight (the Attwood setting of the Mag & Nunc), sung Matins 
in the morning, and then an Organ Concert at 5:30 PM followed by Mass at 6 PM.

And at the evening Mass, they will likely have more than 200 people there --  
typical of their evening Feast services.

How many parishes won’t bother until Sunday?
