[Magdalen] sweet potato/jalapeño soup report

I like heat (and it's amazing how much heat sweet potatoes can
bear), so I use 2 jalapenos or even serranos. And I've been
known to sprinkle on some cayenne.

On Christmas Day one of the things I served was butternut
squash chunks and shallots roasted with a sprinkling of
brown sugar and cayenne. It was nommed almost instantly!
