Lynn,
I must confess that at VTS, where daily MP was the norm, except on Wednesdays, if a lesson was particularly tedious or lengthy or both, the student would often respond to "Here ends the lesson." with a heartfelt "Thanks be to God."

Then there was the young woman at Richmond Hill.
At noon prayer we always read the Epistle of the day. Sometimes, if it was one of Paul's more unfriendly passages, she would pause at the end and proclaim, "the word of Paul!"
