Yes, totally. Splenda is sucralose, Swerve is erythritol. S/O is a chemist
and could explain it to you in technical terms. I can't. What I do know is
that it works better than anything else in baking. I use it in my holiday
cranberry-apple cake which I make at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and in the
carrot cake I make him for an occasional (rare) special treat.
