I cultural milestone has been attained this week . . .  no, not THAT one.

Mattel has announced a new "Fashionista" Barbie line where -- for the fist time, 
Barbie can wear Flats -- as well as Spike heels and Platform shoes.

The new Barbie has a flexible ankle, freeing her from those high heels she' been 
forced to wear for the past 50 years!
