My beloved spouse cannot wear heels.  It's a real problem finding shoes.  A
major, major pain.  You would think that folks selling shoes would know a
potentially rich market when they see it, but nah..

There is a clandestine cult -- a religious bent -- that steps in and stops
it whenever anyone tries to market sensible clothes or shoes for women.
Gosh but they're good.
