One of the sweetest,, saddest things I ever saw was a group of
men unloading a truck down on Congress St., in front of the Homeless
Veterans' Shelter. Eight men, in various states of dishevelment and
sobriety, silently making two lines in the truck bed, preparing to pass
the boxes down & into the shelter lobby.
