It brings back memories of learning that The Cathedral in Manhattan had
caught fire.  Residents in both cases, people who might have nothing to do
with the church, still were gathered around, concerned as if a member of
their family was stricken.

We didn't have nearly so bad a situation in New York. It looks like most of
the roof is gone at Nantes. With such widespread damage, it will be a
daunting task to bring that church back.  Our thoughts are with the good
people of Nantes.
