I remember driving to Wisconsin>>>>
It's commonly thought that the Upper Midwest is all flat farmland.
However, a big portion of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan (especially
the UP) are rolling and, in the case of the "Driffless Area" of SW
Wisconsin,
SE MN, and small portions of Iowa and Illinois, it is almost western in
appearance with the ridges and rock formations. You have a lot of
interesting geology there, including the Rib Mountain (Wausau) and
Baraboo Range (Baraboo), which are quite spectacular, in addition to
the "Driftless Area".
