[Magdalen] Enjoying a colleague's accent

I studied French in St Pierre and Miquelon eons ago and one of the teachers
recounted hearing some people speaking French on the Ile d'Orleans (north
of Quebec City). She said she thought they were speaking English., (St
Pierrais pride themselves on a Parisian accent)
