The US will play without two of its stars, Holiday and Rapinoe, who both
"earned" their second yellow cards the other night, thanks to some dubious
refereeing on the part of a French ref. This should force some creative
coaching on the part of coach Jill Ellis, though I for one am not at all
confident that she is capable of such. And saying that one team from North
America is "surely enough" is like saying one team from Europe or Asia is
enough. Don't start. I really don't want to go there.
