I guess that is what I mean by saying we Evangelicals try to give the plain 
 meaning to Scripture as its original hearers would have understood it.
 
Clearly the quote from Leviticus goes broader than JUST for those  
relationships you mention:  The
same-sex sex condemned in Scripture  is generally adulterous, forced, or 
pagan. 
 
And the whole tenet of Rabbinic Law and commentaries dating back to very  
early times saw it in its plain meaning: gay sexual intercourse is a no- no.  
FULL STOP.
