[Magdalen] Near the end of my rope

As of tonight (indeed.com), there are 352 caregiver jobs open here in
Thousand Oaks, CA, a town of about 130,000. The Hispanic or Latino
population is only 17% and the pay is low. So there is some incentive to
leave a highly stressful situation for one less stressful, or paying
slightly more, or having better (sometimes longer) hours, or avoiding
stressful commutes, or attending community college for a better job, or
whatever.
At the moment, I think our caregiver is happy, but a good bit of my stress
in the last couple of years has been worrying about the length of stay of
our caregivers for reasons cited above, and we raily get any notice.
