Some like Martens thought of the church as Musical Museum Shows on Sunday Moring 
(with men in dresses in those days <g>).

Others think healing the sick, helping the poor, reaching the unChurched  and 
the like is what Christianity is all about.

What's tragedy is the one-parish towns where they've chosen the Martens 
preference rather than being Church.
