[Magdalen] Awake

After an even colder than normal winter in Syracuse (central New York state), it's still colder than normal -- high in the 20s F today even with sun. But! I've seen a few flights of Canada geese flying over, headed north. There's a noise overhead that sounds a lot like a kennel in the sky with many puppies yelping. Look up and there it is -- a V formation of really large, rowdy birds. This is a good sign.

Pleasant walk in the Spring sunshine this morning seeing people working and planting on their allotments and admiring the spring flowers including primroses. Spring is coming, along with a Brit to Chicago. I think he will find Wind is not the only thing that city is renowned for.
