A dermatologist prescribed for me some years ago a combo of
prescription-strength Claritin and prescription-strength Zantac to hit the
histamines on two different levels. It worked, and I eventually ramped
myself down to the OTC versions and then nothing. My current bout is much
less severe and I'll try the Allegra with Zantac. I'm thinking I should try
a different shampoo, as I've been using an anti dandruff one and maybe it's
a trigger. It's one thing that touches my head and hands every day.
