I don't have the answer, but I'll just ask the question:  Is the  present
state of the church in Norway or the rest of Europe a good thing?
 
Does the flickering, marginal activity mean the church has hit bottom
(been swept clean?) and is heading for ? renewal and a surge of  vibrancy?
 
Time will tell.
