My periodic shipment of life saving candy from Pearson's of Saint Paul, MN  
USA
arrived today.  An Upper Midwesterner from the USA can be told by  whether
he/she knows, and probably appreciates that unique candy-bar,  "Pearson's
Nut Goodie".
 
This is a confection consisting of milk chocolate, Virginia peanuts over  a
maple-flavored nougat center.  They are quite simply the best candy  going
IMHO, and those from that USA area cannot survive long without them.
 
They are only commonly sold regionally.
 
The addition of the "a la rescerche du temps perdu" factor doesn't hurt  
either
on biting into these bars.....the memories.
 
Anyway, the bars were well packed with some refrigerant dry ice, and
there was, as a result, no heat damage despite the hot weather  recently.
 
I'm set for another six months.
