[Magdalen] Urban holiday-weekend carnage

Today's holiday-weekend casualty count for Chicago. I always imagine these
figures being from a single incident: if they were, they would be reported
as a horrific tragedy. But many will regard this as just another typical
weekend in the bad neighborhoods. Just appalling...Kyrie eleison.

"At least 56 people were shot over Memorial Day weekend, according to
officials. Authorities said 12 people died from their wounds between
Friday afternoon
