A friend of mine on the near side of 80 recently had a shoulder
replacement.  He has done very well, so well, in fact that he thinks he
will have surgery on the other shoulder, which is much worse, when he
finished rehab.

I pray some miracle such as this will be available for you, Grace.  And,
you are not nearing 80.  Pain and poor function of a shoulder is hard to
deal with.
