[Magdalen] Percentage of life during wartime.

My father-in-law, Ed Gladys, was a career Marine who served in three campaigns in WWII (Guadalcanal, Vela Lavella, and Guam), and two in Korea (Inchon, and I don’t know the other).  He was almost a three war vet, but he retired rather than serve a tour in Vietnam.
