RC teaching is that if you are a member of that Church then you remain 
one unless and until by definitive act you leave it.  Seeing that we 
don't tell them how many RCs we receive into the Anglican Communion they 
don't know how many to take off that membership figure so they don't 
take any off.  Likewise they don't strike someone off if they haveb't 
attended mass for ages.
