Do I take the left fork or the right fork in the road?

The right fork moves me to Port Hope, still in the general Toronto area  
near enough to the friends and many things of the last 40 years but in a 
different place of my choosing.

The left fork takes me down the road to the Montreal area where I have 
two sons and their families, especially one who is openly pining for me 
to be down there.  Lots of pressure and real estate listings coming down 
the line!

I swing back and forth.  One day I'm heading to Montreal, another day 
like today out of the blue an old friend, who was my boss for years in 
the 80's, phones from Port Hope about something else and says again 
'Come to Port Hope.  I'll help you in every way'.  A house I've loved  
on the listings is on her interesting street.  She knows everybody and 
would certainly get me launched!  My cousin, who lived across the road 
here, is a few miles down the road from Port Hope and is keen keen keen 
for me to be closer.

Then I have the guilt about still wanting to do my own thing at this 
time and not  be steered into the Montreal scenario, so full of memories 
and lots of nice people and very seductive.  Not yet, anyway.

What to do?  What to do?  Still lots of time to agonize while this place 
sits on the market, who knows for how long, but.  Please keep the prayer 
wheel turning for me!
