That's what I thought.  I hope to be there at the end of April before

I won't be visiting the islands but Mackinac Island sounds rather like 
Sark in our Channel Islands.  The farmers are allowed tractors and the 
ambulance is a trailer attached to a farm vehicle.  Access is by boat 
from one of the other, larger Islands.
