The fanciest suburbs of Minneapolis are around the lakes to the
west of the downtown Loop (that is what they call downtown even  though
there is no elevated train loop).  This centers on the territory just 
around Lake Minnetonka, which is large and of very irregular shape
with lots of bays and islands.  So these upper income types end  up
facing the sun in the morning on their way to work downtown and  facing
the sun in the evening on their way home from work.
 
The "Little House" rooms from a Frank Lloyd Wright house in the
Lake Minnetonka area are from the western Minneapolis suburbs.
