[Magdalen] Canada's new government

I don't know either. We in this house are already gritting our teeth after
the yesterday's disgusting election results (as usual in off-years, very
few on "our side" turned out and the far-righties all did) and
contemplating what we might do should one of the real kooks be elected. We
already know that Canada and New Zealand won't have us (too old) and that
the makeup of expats in former possibilities (Costa Rica, Belize) is
probably not to our liking, although Belize is still on the list due to a
need for techie folks (and the fact that they are English-speaking). I've
suggested S/O look into the Caribbean nations, as he really doesn't want to
go to India (although I have some excellent connections in Kerala from my
former co-workers). We will probably have to stay here and endure, however.
