It's interesting that 30 years out of the area has resulted in my  
forgetting
about the St. Olaf RC Church in Eau Claire.  It's on the northside,  and
not close to where I lived for nearly 20 years.  I was already  "cantoring"
in some Eau Claire RC parishes.  You'd think I'd remember.
 
In any case, the Saint Olaf Cathedral (Nidaros Dom), the  Archepiscopal
Cathedral of Norway in Trondheim, was my grandfather's family parish.
