RE:  Pink color.
 
The Cathedral in Eau Claire has a nice set of Mass vestments
in rose color used only on the two Rose Sundays a year
during Advent and Lent.
 
A new Dean came along in the 1970's, and on Advent 3 he
appeared in procession with the Cathedral Choir in purple cope.
 
I was positioned just in front of the clergy because I sang in the
bass section, so I asked him wither the rose vestments.
 
His response:  "You'll never catch me wearing pink!"
