With people who loved John Lennon, it makes a lot of sense to never say 
or print his killer's name.  That fool did it for the purpose of 
co-opting Lennon's fame, and he's still alive (I think).  Crazies like 
Harper and the other school shooters usually wind up dead, and won't 
even know whether they're famous or not, so the individual can't be 
"punished" by making him a de-named non-person, and as an example to 
those daydreaming about it, it won't work for prevention, because it 
would take many instances of very effective practice to get through to 
the daydreamers that they won't get famous in death, if that was even 
the motive of the individual shooter.
