Marcel Breurer also designed St. Francis De Sales parish Church in
Muskegon. It closely resembles a concrete bunker from the outside. You
can see pictures by googling the parish name and Muskegon. The interior is
cold and of very strange scale. I do not like the place and I do like
contemporary architecture in churches generally, people babble about how
beautiful our neo-gothic building is at St. Paul's Muskegon. I find it
confining and inaccessible. Maybe I am just grumpy this AM. Why could
that be? Oh, yes, the Cubs lost last night.
