I remember contacting the webmaster for Cullum's "Riverwalk Jazz" show, and there was no confirmation that he had in fact played with them.  But, considering how the CD I sent him involved the legendary Bobby Hackett in a recording session from the 50s most lists don't even mention, I have no doubt the dearly departed Lane wailed down San Antonio way, at least for a bit.  Like so many others, no doubt.

I miss Lane.  RIP him, indeed.
