As I said some time ago, I've never know a bishop who didn't drive a
"company car." If the diocese knew she was drinking and providing means to
drive ... the chancellor must be all atremble.

Spoke with someone awhile ago who was an observer at her election who
claims there was hushed discussion about her problems with booze. Cowardice
and denial were laid on thick in that diocese, IMO.
