Well, none of you are "blessed" with a name like mine - which, whenever I 
mention it to someone I don't know (or, often to those I do know), it's 
always "Wohlers, W-O-H-L-E-R-S". I *always* spell it out for people, so I 
save time before they either misspell it or ask how to spell it. Otherwise I 
typically get "Wholers" or some such. So it's pronounced WOE-lurz, not 
HOO-lurz.

(Of course, the German relatives would say "VO-lurz", but that would confuse 
English-speakers just too much).

Scott was closer - it rhymes with Madonna.  People know how to pronounce
the singer's name even if they don't know it as a title of the Blessed
Virgin Mary, particularly when portrayed with her son.
