[Magdalen] Soup day

I am making my end of summer some of everything from the farm stand
vegetable beef soup.  This will go in the freezer for winter lunches.  It's
one of my favorite winter comfort foods.  I started the beef bone stock
yesterday.  It simmered all night and part of today.  It's been reduced and
strained and now the rest of the meat is browning.  It will have onion,
carrot, peppers, tomatoes, green beans, limas, turnips, corn and even a
little okra.

Some other weekend soon I'll get chicken bones and chicken feet and make a
vat of chicken stock.
