To which I respond, even though I know you're correct- but we've ALWAYS had training for Lay Readers!! And I'm certain it still continues in nooks and crannies of TEC. Interesting to me after that change occurred that there was not a true replacement for the former Lay Reader training as the lector training is not rigorous or very demanding. Poor decision on part of TEC IMNSHO.
