[Magdalen] R.I.P. Kate Rippetoe

​Kate Rippetoe was my next door neighbor at the first house we bought in
Morristown when Sam was a toddler and Adam was a baby just beginning to
crawl. She was the best next door neighbor ever....not in the sense of
bringing brownies ​and and such, but listening and just being there to
help. She and her two youngest daughters, Patti and Susan, babysat for us,
and she kept Sam when I went to the hospital to have Adam and took both
boys in the middle of the night when I went to have Betsy. Kate died Monday
at the age of 88. She will be greatly missed.
