Don’t be too sure. Fiscal conservatives are balking at the high (legal) cost to 
taxpayers of executions, and many are advocating for life in prison without 
parole as being cheaper.

I realize this isn't satisfactory for those who object on strictly moral 
grounds, but maybe the ends justify the means in this case?
