I grew up in Wisconsin, which hasn't had a death penalty since the 19th
century. Then I moved to Tennessee, which has a love affair with it, and am
now in Virginia, which seems to have a kind of off-again, on-again thing
with it. I am very disappointed in our *Democratic* governor at this moment.
