I know, and I have friends who used to drive to Short Pump to Trader Joe's
before we got one in C;ville. So I was very excited when it opened. On my
first visit, I didn't like the whole atmosphere--I was just kind of casing
the joint and didn't buy anything. The second time I went was to buy a
little pine tree as a Christmas gift, because I'd seen one that a friend
had. That was fine, and while I was there I decided to pick up a few
things, including some produce. The produce was terrible-looking,
everything was in packages instead of loose... I still didn't like the
atmosphere. Stopped at Food Lion on the way home for the rest of what I
needed.

YMMV, obviously; I have friends who love the place. I've had quite a few
of their store brand products at potlucks and such, and I do like them, but
I wouldn't make a special trip to buy them...
